Katz TV Marketing Expands In Chicago And L.A.

Katz Television Marketing, which creates customized campaigns for national advertisers on behalf of television stations, today announced the addition of two new directors of sales and marketing:  Luis Duarte in Los Angeles and Matt Tune in Chicago.

Duarte has prior experience with the company and spent several years as an Account Executive for Seltel, which is now Millennium Sales & Marketing, a division of the Katz Television Group. He was part of the Seltel Paramount Team, selling large market non-traditional affiliates. Duarte’s managerial experience includes four years as the director of operations for Pacific Protection Services. Duarte also served as a United States Marine Corp Sergeant for eight years, participating in Operation Nobel Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Prior to joining Katz, Tune was the business development manager for WCIU Chicago. His broadcast experience includes serving as the local sales manager for WNUA–MEGA/Clear Channel Radio, Chicago; account manager for WSNS-TV Chicago; and account manager for KTMD  Houston. Tune served for eight years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Major. He is a graduate of Tulane University.
