KBLR Taps Frederik Oldenburg As Sports Anchor

Telemundo-owned KBLR Las Vegas (DMA 42) has named Frederik Oldenburg sports anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas at 6 and 11 p.m.

Oldenburg, whose first day on air was Aug. 11, joins news anchor Beatriz Moncayo and weather anchor Leticia Castro.

Prior to this position and since 2009, Oldenburg was host and reporter for Anótala, a sports debate-style news program for Canal Plus Entertainment in Caracas, Venezuela. Additionally, Oldenburg worked as a sports opinion writer for Suite 23 Magazine from 2009 to 2012 in Venezuela.

Before that, Oldenburg was morning and daytime producer for Canal I TV in Caracas from 2007 to 2008. He also worked as a producer for El dia D at Radio Empresa Caracas from 2006 to 2007.

A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Oldenburg received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, Venezuela.
