KCCI Adds Elizabeth Klinge As Morning Anchor
Hearst Television’s CBS affiliate KCCI Des Moines, Iowa (DMA 72), has hired Elizabeth Klinge as co-anchor of KCCI 8 News This Morning.
Klinge, an Iowa native will begin anchoring with Steve Karlin and meteorologist Kurtis Gertz the week of Aug. 19.
Klinge has a journalism degree from the University of Iowa and received an award from the Iowa Broadcast News Association for her outstanding reports on agribusiness. She was a reporter and anchor at WHO Des Moines from 2005 to 2011.
