KDEN Ups Corina Hierro To Multimedia Journalist

Telemundo-owned KDEN Denver (DMA 17) on Tuesday promoted Corina Hierro to multimedia journalist.

Hierro, who joined KDEN in 2015 as a freelance editor and most recently worked as a production assistant, will make her on-air debut on May 1, reporting for Noticiero Telemundo Denver  weekdays at 4, 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

She will join news anchors Pamela Padilla and Carlos Rausseo, as well as sports anchor Erasmo Provenza.

Hierro has been recognized with two Colorado Broadcaster’s Association awards for the last two consecutive years in the category “Best Breaking News Coverage Under Deadline Pressure.”

She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Hierro earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Northern Colorado.
