Keith Jones Joins WTVJ Miami As Morning Anchor
Keith Jones will join Pam Giganti as co-anchor of the 5, 5:30, 6 and 11a.m. news on NBC-owned WTVJ Miami (DMA 16), He joins the station from WTSP Tampa-St. Petersburg where he anchored the morning and noon newscasts for more than three years.
Prior to joining WTSP, Jones was morning and main fill-in anchor at KDKA and weekend anchor at WPXI, both Pittsburgh. He also held anchor positions at WOWK Charleston, W.Va., and WTVG Toledo, Ohio.
Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication/journalism from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla., which he attended on a baseball scholarship.
