Kelly Ann Cicalese Joins WCVB’S StormTeam 5

Hearst Television has hired Kelly Ann Cicalese as a meteorologist at its ABC affiliate WCVB Boston (DMA 8) for the weekend morning EyeOpener newscasts beginning Oct. 22.

Cicalese comes to Boston from WSAZ Huntington-Charleston, W.Va., where she’s been the weekday evening meteorologist since December 2013.

Previously, she was a part of the weather team at KGWN Cheyenne, Wyo., where she was awarded “Best Weather Broadcaster” by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters.

Originally from New Jersey, Cicalese is a graduate of Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor of Science in meteorology. While at Rutgers, she was involved in the university’s news program and was a member of the Rutgers Meteorology Club. She also received an Associate of Science in mathematics from Middlesex County College in New Jersey.
