KETK Tyler Names Baker, Jones Sales Managers

Nexstar Broadcasting Group’s KETK Tyler-Longview, Texas (DMA 109), today promoted Irma Baker to local sales manager and Austin Jones to national sales manager of the NBC affiliate and itsassociated digital services including EastTexasMatters.com.

Baker and Jones will also lead sales efforts for White Knight Broadcasting stations KFXK (Fox) and KTPN (MyNetworkTV) through a services agreement. The appointments are effective immediately and both will report to Suzanne Calhoun, KETK’s director of sales.

Baker brings more than 12 years of broadcasting and digital media sales and marketing leadership to her new role. She joined Nexstar in early 2016 as an integrated digital specialist and has developed multiplatform marketing solutions.

Prior to joining Nexstar, she was a project manager the Encore Multimedia advertising agency in East Texas.

Earlier in her career, she was the marketing director of Roberts & Roberts Law Firm in Tyler, Texas.

Jones began his television career at Nexstar’s KNWA Fayetteville, Ark., as an account executive. He is a native Texan and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
