KGO Expanding 11 P.M. Weekend News
ABC O&O KGO San Francisco (DMA 6) will expand its Saturday and Sunday late-evening broadcasts to a full hour beginning Sept. 10.
Alan Wang will anchor the new 60-minute weekend broadcasts with coverage of the day’s top local, national and international stories. Meteorologist Leigh Glaser will provide additional forecasts.
Sports veteran Mike Shumann will deliver the expanded weekend sports coverage with the latest on the 49’ers, Raiders, Giants, A’s, Warriors, Sharks, CAL, Stanford and San Jose State football, as well as national, regional and more local sports news and highlights.
