KGTV San Diego Adds Investigative Reporter

E.W. Scripps-owned ABC affiliate KGTV San Diego (DMA 28) has hired Adam Racusin, as an investigative reporter.

A Los Angeles native, Racusin joins KGTV from KEYE Austin, Texas, where he was an investigative and political reporter focusing on government accountability and waste.

While in Texas, Racusin traveled the state reporting on Texas’ death row, the indictments of former Governor Rick Perry and Attorney General Ken Paxton, the filibuster showdown over access to women’s health, and the deadly crash at the South by Southwest festival.

Racusin began his career at KULR Billings, Mont., and made stops in Santa Maria, Calif., and Omaha, Neb.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Cal State University, Northridge.
