KHBS-KHOG Adds Jay Plyburn To News Staff
Jay Plyburn joins Hearst Television’s KHBS (ABC)-KHOG (CW) Fort Smith, Ark. (DMA 100), as anchor/reporter. Plyburn will anchor the stations’ news at 5:30, 6 and 10 p.m. on weekends and report for the stations and their website, 4029tv.com.
Plyburn joins the stations from KMID Midland, Texas, where he was an anchor/reporter since 2008.
A graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Va., Plyburn began his career as a news and weather anchor for the university’s radio station, while also reporting and anchoring for Marshall University’s television station.
