KING Adds Jordan Wilkerson To Weather Team

Jordan Wilkerson joins Tegna’s Seattle duopoly of KING (NBC) and KONG (ind.) as the newest member of the weather team.

Wilkerson anchors weather on KING newscasts on weekends at 5, 6:30 and 11 p.m. as well as the 10 p.m. newscast on KONG. 

A native of Florida, Wilkerson comes from WCSC Charleston, S.C., where she anchored both weather and traffic and was part of the WCSC team covering Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and 2015’s “Thousand Year Flood.”

Wilkerson got her start at KEPR Yakima, Wash., as a feature reporter and weather anchor.

A graduate of the University of Washington-Tacoma with a bachelor’s degree in communications, Wilkerson is currently working toward her meteorology degree from Mississippi State.
