KMSP Adds Cody Matz As Weekend Meteorologist

Cody Matz is joining Fox O&O KMSP Minneapolis (DMA 15) as weekend meteorologist. Effective Monday, June 10th, Matz will be featured on FOX 9 Morning News Saturday and Sunday and also contribute to various newscasts throughout the week.

Most recently, Matz was chief meteorologist of KDLT Sioux Falls, S.D., where he started as morning meteorologist. Prior to that, Matz was Web meteorologist for the Mississippi State University Geosciences website. He began his career as an intern meteorologist at KPHO Phoenix.

A graduate of Mississippi State University, Matz holds a Bachelor of Science in broadcast meteorology with a minor in communications.
