KMSP Adds Iris Perez To Reporting Staff

Fox-owned KMSP Minneapolis (DMA 15) today named Iris Perez as a general assignment reporter for Fox 9 News at 9 p.m. and Fox 9 News at 10 p.m. Her first day on air will be Monday, Nov. 26.

Most recently, Perez was host of Vital Signs on WTVS Detroit. Prior to that she was a reporter/writer for the Fox Detroit O&O, WJBK. Earlier in her career, Perez was a general assignment reporter and host at WJRT Flint, Mich.

Perez also served as a general assignment reporter for WMBD-WYZZ Peoria, Ill. She began her career as an intern at WJBK.

Perez holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Michigan.
