KMTV Meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin Moves To 10

KMTV Omaha, Neb., meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin will join Craig Nigrelli and Jennifer Griswold on the Scripps-owned CBS affiliate’s Action 3 News at 10 starting July 5. Zeppelin is joining the newscast after veteran meteorologist Jim Flowers announced he is stepping down from his broadcast career on July 1. Zeppelin joined the KMTV team this past January.

Zeppelin will remain both meteorologist and co-anchor of Action 3 News Upfront at 4 with Jennifer Griswold. She will return to the weather desk for Action 3 News Live at 5.

“We are pleased that someone with Jennifer’s experience forecasting weather throughout the Midwest will continue to lead Omaha’s best weather team,” said Joe Spadea, KMTV News director.

Zeppelin previously worked at KTUL Tulsa, Okla., where she was the chief meteorologist for the last three years. She also worked at KCNC Denver, KABB San Antonio and KTBS Shreveport, La.

Zeppelin got her start in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

She is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
