KOCO Names Rebecca Gaylord News Director
Hearst Television ABC affiliate KOCO Oklahoma City (DMA 41) on Thursday named Rebecca Gaylord news director. She succeeds Stephanie Croswait who resigned in April for health reasons.
Gaylord has been the assistant news director at KOAT Albuquerque, N.M., for the past four and a half years. During her 13 years in news management, Gaylord has served as an executive producer in Denver, St. Louis and Kansas City and as an assistant news director in Salt Lake City.
In 21 years in broadcasting, Gaylord has also been a sports reporter/anchor, news reporter, photographer and producer. In 1999, she won a national Edward R. Murrow award for sports reporting.
