KQFX Airing KMIZ Early News At 7 A.M.
Alta Communications-owned Fox affiliate KQFX Columbia-Jefferson City, Mo. (138), is rebroadcasting the 5-7 a.m. weekday ABC 17 News This Morning from co-owned KMIZ at 7-9 o’clock.
“We know that news in paramount to our viewers and having the opportunity to showcase our news product in a different venue is something we are excited to do”, said Gene Steinberg, VP-GM.
ABC 17 News This Morning is anchored by Lauren Gores along with Meteorologist Neville Miller.
This encore presentation (which began April 7) brings the total hours of local news broadcast on KMIZ and KQFX to 35 hour per week.
