Kristen Rodgers Named WTXF Sports Anchor

Kristen Rodgers joins Fox-owned WTXF Philadelphia (DMA 4).

She will anchor sports coverage for the station’s 5, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts and will host the weekend sports show, Sports Sunday.

She will also be a part of the station’s Eagles pre-game show, Game Day Live, hosted by Anchor Howard Eskin.”

Her first day on the air will be Oct. 9.

Most recently, Rodgers was a sports anchor and reporter for KEZI Eugene, Ore. Prior to that, she was an on-air reporter for Scout.com. Rodgers began her career in broadcasting as a sports anchor for USC Annenberg TV News.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Rodgers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast and digital journalism.
