KRIV Adds Rita Garcia As Weekend Anchor
Rita Garcia has joined Fox O&O KRIV Houston (DMA 10) as weekend anchor and reporter. Effective Dec. 13, Garcia will contribute to the station’s weekend 9 p.m. newscast.
A Texas native, Garcia comes to KRIV from KCBS-KCAL Los Angeles, where she was a reporter. Prior to that, she reported for KRGV Weslaco, Tex.
Garcia holds two bachelor’s degrees from Texas State University-San Marcos, one in mass communications and the other in Spanish. She began her career as a news intern for KTBC Austin, Texas.
