KRIV’s Ned Hibberd Moving To WJZY-WMYT
Reporter/anchor Ned Hibberd is leaving Houston (DMA 10) to become assistant news director at WJZY-WMYT, the Fox duopoly in Charlotte, N.C. (DMA 25).
His last day at KRIV will be Sunday, Nov. 24, when he will sign off the 9 p.m. newscast. His first day at WCCB will be Dec. 2.
Hibberd has been with KRIV since January 1990. D’Artagnan Bebel, KRIV VP-GM, said: “Ned has been an integral part of our news team over the last 23 years. He is an accomplished storyteller, whose keen insight into emerging technologies and unique news style will be missed. We wish him well in his new position.”

This story is incorrect. WCCB is no longer the Fox affiliate. He is moving to WJZY.
