KRON Adds Robin Winston As Traffic Reporter

Media General-owned independent KRON San Francisco (DMA 6) has named Robin Winston its new morning traffic reporter. She joins the KRON4 Morning News fulltime on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.

Winston is a Bay Area native who’s been reporting traffic for 13 years. She joined KRON as a fill-in traffic and weather reporter in 2009. Most recently she was the drive-time traffic reporter for KGO-AM San Francisco. She started her broadcasting career at Total Traffic Networks/Clear Channel in 2003 reporting and producing traffic for a number of Bay Area radio stations and SiriusXM.

Winston graduated from San Francisco State University with bachelor’s degree in broadcast Journalism.
