Post-Newsweek is hunting for a successor to replace him as GM of its ABC affiliate in San Antonio, following Joslyn's decision to retire at the end of the month.

KSAT GM Jim Joslyn To Retire July 1
Ending a long run in broadcasting, Jim Joslyn is retiring as VP and general manager of Post-Newsweek Stations’ ABC affiliate KSAT San Antonio, Texas, at the end of the month.
“Jim has run KSAT for 20 years and the results speak for themselves,” said Post-Newsweek CEO Alan Frank in a memo announcing the retirement. “It’s a dominant station by every measure — ratings, revenue and impact in the community. This success is a reflection on Jim’s leadership, his character and the great team that he has assembled.”
Joslyn joined KSAT as GM in 1991 from KVOA Tucson, Ariz., where he was EVP and station manager. Prior to KVOA, he worked in sales for Cox in San Francisco and the ABC in Chicago and San Francisco.
A Milwaukee native, Joslyn is a member of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a former member of the Army Community Council of San Antonio.
In 1997, Joslyn was recognized for Excellence by the Texas Associated Press for his editorials and commentaries.
Frank told TVNewsCheck Post-Newsweek has yet to select a successor.
