KSBW Names Bianca Beltrán Weekend A.M.Anchor

Hearst-owned NBC affiliate KSBW Monterey-Salinas, Calif. (DMA 125), today named Bianca Beltrán anchor of its KSBW Action News 8 Weekend Sunrise. Bianca joins meteorologist Ferdinand Holum Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9 a.m.

Beltrán earned her bachelor’s degree in media studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She began her broadcast career in Los Angeles at CBS radio before moving into television news at Entravision in Santa Maria, Calif.

She started field reporting with KSBW in 2015 and has covered a wide range of breaking news from the Soberanes wild fires to the recent calamitous storms hitting the Central Coast.
In addition to her weekend morning news anchoring duties, Beltrán will continue to field report throughout the week.
