KSBW To Simulcast News On Estrella Subchannel

Beginning Monday, Sept. 11, Hearst Television-owned NBC affiliate KSBW Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz, Calif. (DMA 125), will simulcast its 5 p.m. newscast with live Spanish closed captioning on its Estrella TV Costa Central subchannel that airs over the air on ch. 8.3, Comcast cable ch. 625 and Charter cable ch. 239.

“We are excited to bring our award-winning newscasts to our Estrella TV Costa Central viewers,” said President-GM Joseph W. Heston. “We appreciate this opportunity to serve a very important audience in our Central Coast communities.”

Anchored by Dan Green, Erin Clark, Drea Blackwell and Chief Meteorologist Lee Solomon, KSBW Action News 8 at 5:00 PM  will be simulcast on Estrella TV Costa Central Monday through Friday.
