KTBC Names Amanda Salinas Morning News Anchor

Fox-owned KTBC Austin, Texas (DMA 40), today named Amanda Salinas anchor for its Good Day Austin. Effective Jan. 20, Salinas will join the morning team alongside Dave Froehlich, Zack Shields and Keri Bellacosa. She will also co-anchor Fox 7 News at Noon with Dave Froehlich.

Most recently, Salinas was an anchor and reporter for KDAF Dallas. Before that, she held anchor and reporter positions at various stations, including WPBF West Palm Beach, Fla.; WFAA Dallas; KCEN Waco, Texas; and KGNS Laredo, Texas.

A graduate of the University of Texas School of Communications, Salinas holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
