KTBC Names Dave Froehlich Morning News Anchor

Fox O&O KTBC Austin, Texas (DMA 45), today named Dave Froehlich a co-anchor for Good Day Austin alongside co-anchor, Keri Bellacosa and meteorologist, Zack Shields. His appointment is effective July 3.

Most recently, Froehlich was anchor-reporter for KRIS Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to that, he was weekend anchor-reporter for WDAF Kansas City, Mo.

Earlier, Froehlich was an anchor at KVII Amarillo, Texas, and KREX Grand Junction, Colo., where he also served as sports director.

Froehlich began his career as a production assistant at KPRC Houston.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Froelich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
