KTLA Ups Lovelace To Business Affairs Director

Tribune Broadcasting-owned CW affiliate KTLA Los Angeles (DMA 2) today announced John Lovelace has been elevated to director of business affairs and station relations. 

Lovelace, who was previously manager of marketing and branding, will continue to report to Marshall Hites, SVP of marketing and creative services, Tribune Broadcasting. In this newly created role, Lovelace will work with Hites and Tribune Broadcasting’s creative service directors to identify synergies and marketing priorities.

He will continue to work out of Tribune’s Group Creative Facility based at KTLA and will also remain involved in the marketing operations of the station.

Lovelace joined Tribune in 2006 as manager of marketing and branding for KTLA where he worked alongside the creative director to implement the marketing strategies for the KTLA news programs, specials, live events and the station’s syndicated shows. Prior to his tenure at Tribune, Lovelace held executive level producer positions at Aspect Ratio, Panopoly Pictures and Click 3X.

Lovelace, a graduate of Washington and Lee University.
