KTVL Morning News to Start at 5 A.M.

Beginning on Monday, Jan. 24, Freedom Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate KTVL Medford-Klamath Falls, Ore. (DMA 140), will expand its morning newscast to two hours each weekday, airing from 5 to 7 a.m.

News10 at 5AM will be anchored by Sebastian Robertson and Cate Caugiran, with weather conditions and forecasts from Lindsey Matherly.

“Now local viewers will have a choice at 5 a.m.,” said KTVL News Director Rick Howard. “We’ll bring our commitment to provide the best coverage of local news, weather and sports to this new time period. We’re going to offer something different than what is currently available.”

 “This is very exciting for News10 and for the many, many viewers who have asked that we offer an earlier newscast,” said General Manager Kingsley Kelley.
