KVOA Tucson Ups Alyx Dote To A.M. Anchor
Cordillera Communications-owned NBC affiliate KVOA Tucson, Ariz. (DMA 65), has promoted Alyx Dote to weekday morning news anchor for News 4 Tucson Today. She is co-anchoring the 5-7 a.m. newscast with Sean Mooney beginning today.
Dote currently co-anchors the station’s weekend newscasts.
Before joining KVOA in June 2016 as a reporter/multimedia journalist, Dote was a reporter at KRCR Chico, Calif. She was promoted to weekend news anchor in August 2017.
Dote graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
