KVUE Names Byron Wilkinson Sales Director
Tegna-owned ABC affiliate KVUE Austin, Texas (DMA 39) has hired Byron Wilkinson to be director of sales, effective Jan. 17
He joins KVUE from from Tegna’s CBS affiliate KTHV Little Rock, Ark., where he has been director of sales since October of 2014.
Prior to that, he was local sales manager at Tegna’s KHOU Houston from 2010 to 2014.
Wilkinson also worked several years as a national account executive, local AE and national sales manager with News Corp. from 2000 to 2010 in both Dallas and Houston.
He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
