KWBA Tucson To Launch New Morning Newscast
Starting Monday, April 21, Good Morning Tucson Extra will premiere on Journal Broadcast Group’s CW affiliate KWBA Tucson, Ariz. (DMA 70).
The new program will air from 7 to 8 a.m. on weekdays as an extension of Good Morning Tucson, which airs from 5 to 7 a.m. on co-owned ABC affiliate KGUN.
KWBA also airs a nightly news broadcast at 9 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“We believe this is another option for viewers to get even more news, weather and traffic during busy mornings,” said News Director Tom Burke.
