KWQC Names Joey Donia Sports Director
Today marks Joey Donia’s debut on air as the new sports director of Media General’s NBC affiliate KWQC Davenport, Iowa (DMA 100).
Donia comes to KWQC from WOI Des Moines, Iowa, where he spent the last two years as a weekend sportscaster, covering Iowa and Iowa State sports, as well as working on a 30-minute weekly high school football show. He’s also worked at WALB Albany, Ga.
Donia is a Chicago-area native, and a graduate of Drake University.
