KXRM Welcomes Back Meteorologist Jeff Womack
Media General’s Fox affiliate KXRM Colorado Springs will replace retired meteorologist Terry Gerbstadt with Jeff Womack.
Womack is no stranger to KXRM as he spent time forecasting weather there during some of Southern Colorado’s most turbulent times, covering events including: Waldo Canyon Wildfire, Black Forest Wildfire and the Citadel flooding in June of 2012.
After starting his weather career in Spokane, Wash., and Billings Mont., he joined KXRM as weekend meteorologist in 2012.
Womack spent the last two years in New Orleans at WGNO, forecasting the tropics and covering festivals including Mardi Gras.

Some may also remember Jeff Womack as a great country music DJ in Montana before he began his weather career. Great guy with great parents.
