NAB’s coalition of leading broadcast/technology organizations adds the digital publishing and content management company as its newest charter member.
Lakana The Latest To Join NAB’s Pilot
The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that Lakana, an enterprise technology, content management and monetization platform, has joined its Pilot coalition as the eighth charter member. Pilot brings together companies, organizations and educators to advance broadcast technology and innovation.
Pilot consists of broadcasting and technology stakeholders, such as new media broadcast operators, measurement and attribution companies, advertising partners and technology providers. Among other goals, Pilot’s working groups and committees promote the creation and implementation of new technologies and solutions for the media industry.
Lakana, Pilot’s newest charter member, powers more than 250 local broadcast digital media websites. Its platforms reach 75% percent of U.S. DMAs and 180 million unique users per month. Lakana offers a suite of experience management, engagement and monetization solutions for media publishers.

Charter members of Pilot will help define key areas for development of innovative technologies and services for media companies with a focus on multi-platform digital distribution. As associate members of NAB, Pilot members will also participate in NAB technology program development, conventions and networking events.
