Lauren Casey Joining KYW Weather Team
Lauren Casey will join the weather team of CBS-owned KYW Philadelphia (DMA 4) next month.
Casey comes to KYW from sister station WCCO Minneapolis where she has been the weekend meteorologist since 2011. Previously, she was the morning meteorologist at WINK Fort Myers, Fla.
Casey is a 2006 graduate of Rutgers University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology. While at Rutgers, she interned with the National Weather Service, News Jersey and WCAU Philadelphia.
Casey holds the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation by the American Meteorological Society.
