Lauren Victory Joins WTIC Hartford As Reporter

Fox-owned WTIC Hartford, Conn. (DMA 30), today announced the addition of Lauren Victory as a general assignment reporter. Victory joins the station from WPTZ Burlington, Vt., where she worked as a video journalist/reporter for the past three years.

Before joining WPTZ in 2011, Victory was an associate producer for the You & Me This Morning show at WCIU Chicago. Prior to WCIU, Victory reported for WLNS Lansing, Mich., and was an anchor for News at Northwestern, on the Big Ten Network in Evanston, Ill.

She also held a position at ABC News, booking guests for Good Morning America. Victory got her start in journalism as an intern for WABC-AM New York.

Victory graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., with a degree in journalism and political science.
