Lennox Named WSVN Afternoon-Evening Anchor

Sunbeam Television’s Fox affiliate WSVN Miami (DMA 16), today named Jeff Lennox co-anchor alongside long-time anchor Lynn Martinez weekdays, effective immediately.

Most recently, he co-anchored 7 NEWS Weekend Editions in the afternoon and evenings.

Lennox joined WSVN in September 2011. Before arriving in South Florida, he worked as an anchor/reporter at WESH Orlando, Fla. He also worked at WATE Knoxville, Tenn., and WWAY Wilmington, N.C.

He has covered a number of big stories and high-profile cases. He traveled to New Orleans for two weeks after Hurricane Katrina. He was one of the first reporters to go live from Blacksburg, Va., after the Virginia Tech massacre in 2006 and most recently, the nightclub massacre in Orlando. He helped break the story surrounding Tiger Woods SUV accident in 2009.

His reports have aired on CNN, Fox, MSNBC and NBC’s Today show.
