Live Well Adds Five Citadel Stations

These affiliates in Providence, Des Moines, Davenport, Lincoln and Sioux City bring the ABC diginet’s U.S. clearance to about 55%.

The Live Well Network — the broadcast, online and wireless service for multicast lifestyle TV channel owned by the ABC Owned Television Stations Group — today announced affiliation agreements with five Citadel Communications.

Citadel’s WLNE Providence, R.I. (DMA 53); WOI Des Moines, Iowa (DMA 72); WHBF Davenport-Rock Island, Iowa-Moline, Il. (DMA 100); KLKN Lincoln (DMA 105); and KCAU Sioux City, Iowa (DMA 147) all sign on with Live Well Network on Jan. 16. The addition of these Citadel Communications stations to the Live Well Network’s affiliate roster brings the network’s overall clearance to about 55% of all U.S. television households. 

”These five new affiliates from Citadel Communications demonstrate the Live Well Network’s continuing momentum among TV station groups as we now enter 2012,” said Peggy Allen, VP of programming, Live Well.

Currently carrying the Live Well Network are the eight ABC Owned Television Stations, all 10 Scripps Television Station Group properties, seven Belo Corp. stations, and various stations owned by Journal Broadcasting Group, Allbritton Communications, Gannett Broadcasting, Bonneville International, Carlisle Media One, Bonten Media Group, Bruno-Goodworth Network, Great Plains TV, Lilly Broadcasting, LKK Group and Quincy Newspapers.
