Lori Wilson Joins WISH Indianapolis As Anchor

LIN-owned CBS affiliate WISH Indianapolis (dma 26), today announced that Lori Wilson will be the new anchor of 24-Hour News 8 at 5 PM. and also report live during the station’s 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts, beginning mid-June.

Wilson, an Indiana native, returns home after anchoring in top 10 television markets for the last 10 years, and being a network fill-in for MSNBC. Most recently, she anchored at WCAU Philadelphia. Previously, she was an anchor at WGCL Atlanta (formerly WGNX) and KSLA Shreveport, La. She landed her first job at WCIA in Champaign Ill,, while working as an intern at WGCL.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Indiana University.
