Luke Commare Joins WDSU As Sales Director

Hearst-owned NBC affiliate WDSU New Orleans (DMA 51) has hired Luke Commare as director of sales, effective Jan. 6, 2014. Commare comes from WDSU’s sister stations in the Hearst Television group, WPTZ-WNNE Burlington, Vt.-Plattsburgh, N.Y., where has been general sales manager since 2012.

Commare has spent his professional career working at NBC affiliated stations, including local and national sales management responsibilities for WXII Winston Salem, N.C.  He began his career in sales with KVOA Tucson, Ariz.

Commare holds a degree in public relations and communications from Northern Michigan University.
