Magazines Get Golden From Globe Awards

Coverage of Golden Globe Awards gave most of the already hot magazine shows an additional boost in the week ending Jan. 20. Daytime shows were generally steady to higher despite some preemptions for news conferences on the economy on Jan. 14 and gun control on Jan. 16.

Judge Judy’s 7.4 was tops in daytime while the off-network Big Bang Theory’s 7.9 put it in syndication’s No. 1 spot.
