The executive with 22 years of broadcasting, marketing and sales management experience will lead the group’s Elmira, N.Y., NBC affiliate and its MyTwinTiers.com.
Marci Daniels Named WETM Elmira VP-GM
Nexstar Broadcasting Group today appointed Marci Daniels vice president and general manager of its NBC affiliate WETM Elmira, N.Y. (DMA 175), its digital subchannel and associated mobile and digital operations under MyTwinTiers.com.
The appointment is effective immediately and Daniels will report to Bill Sally, SVP of Nexstar Broadcasting.
Daniels’ professional career spans over two decades in broadcasting sales, marketing and management, with expertise in local and national sales, new business development and strategic planning across multiple media platforms.
Daniels joins Nexstar from a post as general sales manager of WEYI-WBSF Flint, Mich.
Before her tenure in Flint, she was an integrated media sales executive at WPTV West Palm Beach, Fla., where she created multimedia broadcast and online campaigns for local retailers and businesses.
Prior to that, she spent 13 years at WNEM Flint-Saginaw-Bay City, Mich., in local sales and sales management.
