Marissa Hollowed Joins KMIZ As Co-Anchor
Marissa Hollowed has been named evening co-anchor/reporter at News Press & Gazette Co.’s ABC affiliate KMIZ Columbia-Jefferson City, Mo. (DMA 138).
Hollowed will join Joey Parker to anchor the 6, 6:30, 9 and 10 p.m. editions of ABC 17 News beginning Wednesday, Oct. 8.
It’s a return to the market for Hollowed who graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 2011 and spent time at the university’s KOMU as an anchor and reporter.
She joins KMIZ from WPSD Paducah, Ky., where she just wrapped up a three-year stint as a morning anchor and reporter.
