Mark Brunell And Malik Jackson Join WJXT

One former and one current Jacksonville Jaguar players — Mark Brunell and Malik Jackson, respectively — have joined Graham Media’s independent WJXT Jacksonville, Fla. (DMA 47), contributing to The Morning Show, Jaguars All Access, Jaguars Live, News4JAX and

Every week Brunell will appear live on News4JAX with a Monday Morning Quarterback segment giving viewers his unique insights on why the Jaguars won or lost their game. He will also write a column for Brunell played quarterback for the Jaguars from 1995 to 2003 and in 2013 was inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars, the team’s Hall of Fame equivalent.

Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson will become the only active Jaguar player providing behind the scenes stories and “best of” reports in a segment called, The Jackson Five. Jackson joined the Jaguars this offseason as one of the team’s primary free agent targets after helping the Denver Broncos win Super Bowl XLVIII. 

The segments begin next week and will complement the reporting done by WJXT Sports Director and Jaguars pre-season play-by-play voice Sam Kouvaris’ work both on TV and on
