Marla Tellez Joins KTTV’s ‘Good Day L.A.’

Fox-owned KTTV Los Angeles is adding Marla Tellez to its Good Day L.A. Beginning Jan. 7, Tellez will be a co-anchor of the morning news program alongside Steve Edwards, Maria Sansone, Lisa Breckenridge, Julie Chang and Maria Quiban. Aside from news anchor duties, she will join the morning team for interviews and discussions both in studio and from the field.

Tellez has been an anchor and reporter for KNTV San Francisco for the past three years. Prior to that, she was an anchor for KOB Albuquerque, N.M. Earlier in her career, she was a reporter for HDNet World Report, KPIX San Francisco and KION  Salinas, Calif., as well as a producer for KPIX San Francisco and KFTY Santa Rosa, Calif.

A graduate of Sonoma State University, Tellez holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science/communication studies.
