Martha Jennings Named WBIR News Director
Gannett-owned NBC affiliate WBIR Knoxville, Tenn. (DMA 61), has named Martha Jennings news director.
Jennings was named WBIR assistant news director in November 2014, and interim news director in December 2014 when Gannett promoted News Director Christy Moreno to the same role at its KUSA Denver.
Prior to WBIR, Jennings was executive nightside producer for WFLA Tampa, Fla., since mid-2012.
She previously was a news producer at WRAL Raleigh, N.C., and before that, a news producer at WCBD Charleston, S.C.
