McKernan, Huff Promoted At Quincy Media
Jim McKernan, vice president and general manager of Quincy Newspapers Inc.’s NBC affiliate KWWL Cedar Rapids, Iowa (DMA 90), has taken on additional regional management responsibilities with Quincy Media Inc.
Beginning Jan. 1, McKernan will oversee NBC affiliate WGEM-TV and WGEM-AM-FM in Quincy, Ill. (DMA 170). Quincy is the corporate headquarters for the company.
In addition, John Huff, KWWL general sales manager, has been promoted to station manager, also effective Jan. 1, broadening his responsibilities to include advertising sales, production and programming.
