DMAS 73 & 123

Me-TV Adds KXLY Spokane, KAPP Yakima

Morgan Murphy Media-owned KXLY Spokane, Wash. (DMA 73) and KAPP Yakima, Wash. (DMA 123), are the latest stations to add classic TV diginet Me-TV. ABC affiliate KXLY will carry Me-TV over the air on ch. 4.2 and ABC affil KAPP will carry it on ch. 35.2.

Both stations are scheduled to launch Me-TV this fall and both will have negotiated cable carriage of Me-TV.

Me-TV is cleared in more than 78% of the country and has more than 120 affiliates.

“We are thrilled to partner with Me-TV, Memorable Entertainment Television, in Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Southern Oregon to bring back popular classic programs that tug at our heart strings, make us laugh and bring generations together,” said Teddie Gibbon, VP-general manager of KXLY, and Brian Paul, VP-GM of KAPP-KVEW, said in a joint statement.

Me-TV, memorable entertainment television, is owned and operated by Weigel Broadcasting Co. and distributed by MGM Television.

A little directionally challenged quote from the GM there… KXLY broadcasts in NORTHERN Oregon… not SOUTHERN…
