Me-TV Adds WPTZ Burlington, KVLY Fargo

The Me-TV Network has added affiliates from both existing and new station groups. Hearst Television-owned WPTZ, Burlington, Vt.-Plattsburgh, N.Y. (DMA 97) will launch Me-TV on Jan. 2, 2013, and Hoak Media-owned KVLY Fargo, N.D. (DMA 117) will debut the classic TV diginet on Jan. 1. This will be the first Hoak Media-owned station to become a Me-TV affiliate.

WPTZ will be seen over the air on ch. 5.2. KVLY will be seen over the air on KVLY ch. 11.2. Both stations will have cable clearances in their respective markets. The Me-TV Network covers nearly 84% of the country through 138 affiliates.

“ValleyNewsLive and KVLY are pleased to bring Me-TV to the Red River Valley. We think our viewers will enjoy the Me-TV Fargo line up of great shows like Bonanza, Cheers and The Bob Newhart Show that will be broadcast on our 11.2 channel and on most cable systems in our viewing area,” said Jim Wareham, KVLY president-GM.
