Media Brokers Elect New Officers

Glenn M. Serafin, director of Tampa, Fla.-based Serafin Bros., will serve a two-year term as president of the National Association of Media Brokers. Mark Jorgenson was elected vice president, Roger Rafson as secretary and Greg Guy as treasurer.

The National Association of Media Brokers elected a new slate of officers at its semi-annual meeting during the NAB Radio Show last week.

Glenn Serafin, director of Tampa, Fla.-based Serafin Bros., a national media brokerage, will serve a two-year term as president of hte NABM. Prior to forming his brokerage in 1993, Serafin spent 11 years in news, sales and management at the Associated Press, followed by eight years at Communications Equity Associates.

Serafin succeeds Joseph “Jody” McCoy III as president.

Mark Jorgenson, founding partner of Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage, was elected vice president. Roger Rafson, owner of CMS Station Brokerage, was elected secretary. greg Guy, managing parter of Patrick Communications, was elected treasurer.

The NABM was established in 1985 to promote its services to radio and television industries.
