Media Veteran Steve Doerr Joins CJ&N

Media research and consulting firm CJ&N has hired veteran local media executive Steve Doerr as VP of client development and senior consultant.

In his new role, he will lead new business development efforts for the company as well as help local media companies grow across all of their platforms.

Doerr was general manager of television stations from Dallas to Providence, R.I. He has served as an executive at the corporate level for NBC and Smith Media, and has led local news operations in markets including Philadelphia, Cleveland and Washington.

He also has experience in digital information and video delivery products. Most recently, Doerr worked as a digital marketing and brand strategist for Power Web Videos, an emerging video-driven digital marketing company.
